NBA Finals Update: LA Lakers and Boston Celtics Tied 2-2

In Game 4 the Lakers lost to Boston
because Pau Gasol could not box out and block Glen Davis and when there
was loose ball Nate Robinson and the Celtics were diving for it while
a guy like Jordan Farmar half-heartedly would reach for it.
If the Lakers can hold Kobe Bryant
to under 40% shooting they will likely win. Kobe averages 9 for
23 from the field in Lakers losses vs 11 for 23 in Lakers wins.
The Celtics also need Ray Allen to find his outside shooting touch.
Allen hits 2 Three's and shoots over 40% from three point range in
Celtics wins, but he is just 30% from three point range in losses.
While perimeter shooting is important
AccuScore had always highlighted the importance of rebounding above
all else in this series and so far the team that won the rebounding
battle won the game. Pau Gasol needs to re-assert himself
on the boards. When the Lakers win in simulations they out-rebound
Boston by 5 rebounds but when Boston wins they out-rebound LA by 3.
