While the Lakers are still heavy favorites to win this series, the Phoenix Suns at least managed to breathe some life into the worst NBA playoffs in recent memory. The Suns not only won but also covered the spread and AccuScore is now on a fantastic 41-16, 71.9% +3006 run over the past few weeks.
It does not take a genius to know that if the Lakers win Game 4 this series is over, but if the Suns win Game 4 it is more than likely to go 7 games as originally predicted at the start of the series. The key to Game 4 will be the performance of the non-All Star Big Men. If Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum play like they did in Game 1 and 2 the Lakers should dominate the boards, shoot well over 50% from the field and win by 5+ points. If Robin Lopez can have another great game and if Channing Frye can actually hit a shot (he was a horrendous 0-7, 0-5 from three and an obscene 1-19 in the series) the Suns can definitely win Game 4, although they are still a 17.6% long shot to come back and actually win the series.
