Your "Bad Beat" for Tuesday is on:

Kent State (plus 1 1/2) at Miami, Ohio.

The Golden Flashers clamped down with the defense and led 24-11 at the half. Yes 11!?!?!?

The Redhawks, though, made a second half run though and picked it up a bit with the offense outscoring Kent 36-23 in the final 20 minutes to force overtime.

And in the extra session Kent was outscored 8-6 and fell 55-53 resulting in a non-cover and a fairly decent "Bad Beat".

How can you allow 11 points in the first half and not win that game!??!?!

Your winners for Wednesday are on:

4* North Carolina (plus 3) at Clemson.

3* Rutgers (plus 13) vs. Syracuse.

2-0 sweep on Tuesday as Penn State and Tennessee State each easily stay inside that number for another 4* worth of profit!

North Carolina may not be as loaded as last season but this team is still great. Clemson is good, period and to be laying points to Roy Williams' Hels is borderline silly. Ed Davis, Deon Thompson, Marcus Ginyard and on and on and on plus points in Clemson? Come on!?!?!?

I like Trevor Booker and Demontez Stitt and Oliver Purnell's team as a whole. They are a nice bunch that are a top 20 or so team but for them to be laying points here is wrong, plain and simple.

I understand how the road can be brutal at times for most programs but North Carolina is not most programs as these guys know how to travel and Littlejohn Coliseum is a familiar spot where they will be just fine in.

Syracuse may only have one loss and the Orange may have even beaten North Carolina earlier in the season but in terms of programs I trust UNC a lot more right now than I do Syracuse.

The Orangemen are very good with Wesley Johnson leading the way but they are not truly an elite squad right now and are well overvalued here on the road against a not good but still dangerous enough Rutgers program.

Fred Hill has some issues with the Scarlet Knights as they are one of the weaker Big East schools but this team does hold its own in terms of being competitive at home and I think they will do just that today. Look for Mike Rosario to do his thing and for this thing to end in single digits!
