The Old One Second To Go Goal!

Your "Bad Beat" for Thursday is on:
Capitals (minus 1 1/2 goals plus 170) at Atlanta.
It really can't get much worse than this. The Capitals were about a 165 road favorite but if you layed that extra goal and a half you could get about 170 back.
Washington owned the 3-0 lead into the third period. The Thrashers though, even without Ilya Kovalchuk fought back to within 3-2 on Todd White's goal with under 2 1/2 minutes to play. That is where the emotions really started.
The Thrash had the empty net to try and tie this thing up but Mike Knuble scored without the goalie at 19:07 giving the Caps the 4-2 lead and one would have to think the cover for that 1 1/2.
But...
With literally one second to go Atlanta's Zach Bogosian's slap shot beat the clock and this thing ended at 4-3!?!?!? Wow!!!
Your winners for Friday are on:
3* South Florida (plus 3) vs. West Virginia.
2* Celtics (minus 12) vs. Bulls.
A winning 1-1 Thursday as the 3* Tar Heels outright was unreal. A 2* underdog loser on the Phillies but still a positive day for sure!
I am not at all sold on this West Virginia team as I just think they are living on reputation. Noel Devine is lightning fast but the Mounties are a poor 2-5 ATS and are ready to get smacked around a bit.
Certainly one must be cautious with the Bulls as they have been fairly pathetic of late and do have a backup quarterback in there but at home I'll take my chances on a quality coach in Jim Leavitt and his still pretty good team.
George Selvie is insane on defense and will make it tough for Devine and Jarrett Brown. This WVU offense will always make some plays but on the road here I just do not see them doing enough to pull out a win and to be laying points makes this thing an absolute no-brainer for me!
Man, laying a dozen points can be dicey but to be honest with you the Celtics are the best team in the entire NBA and I mean that with total conviction. Rasheed Wallace is now in the mix and with a healthy and focused Kevin Garnett this team is ready to pound opponents and win another ring.
Da Bulls are a pretty good team and it was a solid win last night over Timmay and the Spurs but this is really difficult spot, playing for a second straight night and here up against a fresher and much better Boston team.
The C's just have too many weapons with Wallace, KG, Allen and Pierce. Derrick Rose is a budding star for sure but let's remember how these Bulls lost Ben Gordon and it is going to hurt in terms of scoring. Up against a grueling Boston defense and playing on this back-to-back Chicago may not eclipse 75 points!
