Bishop with 11, Cats up 44-22 at half

It's been a game where the guys you don't often hear of are playing very well. Rashad Bishop is easily the team MVP at this point in the season. He's UC's best defender and has been able to score which is a pleasant surprise. Bishop has 11 points on 5-5 shooting in the first half. Texas Southern isn't doing themselves any favors either. They have shot 7-of-33 from the floor. A 21.2 percentage. Anthony "Biggie" McLain also had some quality minutes. He threw down a monster dunk and then blocked a shot on the Tigers' ensuing possession.
Some other stats:
Lance has five assists but four turnovers and two points on 1-of-6 shooting. Darnell Wilks is another guy putting in quality minutes. He's 3-4 in the first half for seven points and has a steal, a block and three rebounds. More later.
