Brian Kelly has taken the head coaching postition at Notre Dame and will not coach the Sugar Bowl against Florida. It is not yet clear who will coach the Sugar Bowl but all signs point to assistant head coach and defensive backs coach Kerry Coombs.
Coombs was brought in at UC when Kelly arrived from Colerain High School, one of the top high school programs in the country.
Kelly has been taking flack since the news broke announcing his new job. He reportedly told his 105 players today around 5 p.m. about his leaving the program.
You can't help but feel for all those players. Some of which he told to their face that he wasn't going anywhere. College football has major problems right now and they need to get it fixed very soon.
I apologize for how poorly written this is but you got the gist of the info. More on the UC basketball game against Miami (OH) later.
