Lance Stephenson Decision Could Come This Week

-The University of Kentucky had their top recruit, John Wall, declared eligible to play this season by the NCAA last week. Now it's time to speed up the process on UC's top recruit Lance Stephenson. It's no secret that the guy can ball. Talked with UC head coach Mick Cronin today and he said he hopes to hear a decision later this week.
Another UC official told me they expect the decision this week so chances are the decision will come soon. Cronin said he doesn't worry about it but in my opinion, with Stephenson this team could get to the Sweet 16 and maybe deeper. Without him, may not be in the NCAA tourney.
The Cats play their first exhibition game Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Fifth Third Arena.
