-Haven’t blogged in a couple of days. I was busy running my pile of junk car over a cliff because it’s a piece. Just kidding … but seriously I wanted to, at least I get to drive around my dad’s JEEP for a few days.

REDS UPDATE

-Joey Votto started a AAA sting in Louisville last night and had a rough night at the plate but did have 10 putouts at first base. 0-for-3 at the plate with a walk but at least he’s on his way back. There still has been no word on why exactly he has been out but rumors are going around that it is stress related due to his father’s death during last season. He is expected to return with the Reds June 30 when the Reds play Arizona at home. Before yesterday’s 7-0 loss to the Braves the Reds team batting average was .194 over the last 14 games.

UPCOMING GAMES

The Reds start a three-game series tonight at home against the White Sox. Saturday is the Civil Rights Game which actually sounds pretty cool and will hopefully bring the All-Star Game to Cincy soon. How can the birthplace of baseball not have had an ASG since 1988?

-They’re 3 ½ back of the Brewers who play the Tigers this weekend.

MINOR LEAGUERS

Yonder Alonso has gone on the DL with a broken right hamate bone and this year’s top pick Mike Leake from Arizona St. is out of the CWS with tendonitis.

OTHER STUFF

I haven’t posted a video yet so this might look like a jumbled bunch of crap, either way, I wish I could dance like this.
This is in honor of myself almost taking a digger on an escalator at the Reds game yesterday. Slippery shoes and getting on an escalator don’t mix.
