I just wrapped up filming a Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee commercial with Jonathan Papelbon and Dustin Pedroia in Ft Myers, Fla. The crew was pretty strict about cameras on the set and banned autographs so all I could grab was a quick solo photo in the locker room. I will spare you all the shot -– self-portraits with a Blackberry are rarely exciting. The job, however, was cool and moved along quickly.

I played a random Red Sox player in the background as Papelbon and Pedroia took center stage. We all quickly learned that Papelbon is quite funny, and he entertained the crew throughout the shoot. Pedroia is more subdued but a real nice guy. Dustin did mention that his wrist not that banged up and that he planned to take batting practice tomorrow and play the following day. That’s good news for the Red Sox Nation especially since in the commercial he was hopping up and down, take after take, trying to grab his glove from his locker.

For those of you who live in the Boston area, keep an eye out for the spot. I’ll be the white flash with spiky hair walking by in the background.

Stay tuned. On April 9-10, I will be working with Matt Leinart in Phoenix on his annual Charity Golf Event.
